James A. Billion

A native of Sioux Falls, James graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2000, after serving as class president, and being named Outstanding Student Member of the
South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association. 

Through his years of practice, James has gained extensive courtroom experience in both criminal and civil settings.  As a former State’s Attorney, James also had opportunity to handle a variety of public sector and municipal civil issues.  He has handled cases throughout South Dakota, and successfully argued before the
South Dakota Supreme Court.
